We have recently updated the Sunday morning schedule to better meet the needs of your children. It is our goal to provide spritiual growth for your child from from birth to graduation and beyond.

The youth grades 9-12 have moved out to the Youth and Children's Building during the 9:00 Oasis hour and grades 5-8 have moved to the Preteen/Junior High Wing located in the Worship Center. The High School are delving into the life of Christ using the Student Life Curriculum and the Junior High are using learning how to deepening their spiritual walk using the Grapple Curriculum
There were three contributing factors to this setup.
- We wanted to align the departments closely with the middle school/high school structure of LISD.
- We wanted to provide the 5th graders a place to get to know students from other schools before they are integrated in Middle School.
- Lastly, we felt like this was the best way to adequately address the variety of issues this large age range offers.
After looking at several possible options, we felt this was the most effective way to serve these students.
Tony Marquez and Caroline Smith are leading the Junior High and David Stone, Tonya Cockburn, and Gena Stone are leading the High School.
Church Hour 10:00
- During the church hour children ages 3-2nd grade are meeting in the Youth andChildren’s Building and the 3rd-6th graders are asked to stay in the Worship Center until they are dismissed. to their small groups. At 10:30 the 3 years through 2nd grade will be dismissed to the rooms listed below.
- 5-6 graders will go to the Youth and Children’s Building with Tony Marquez
- 3-4 graders will go to the PEACE room
- 1-2 graders will go to the JOY room
- 3 years through kinder will go to the Children’s Learning Lab
This schedule will start the week after promotion Sunday.
